We are and will be thankful to the community members who took initiate to help us achieving such heights. This all started back in 1992. The community members from "MereMere" Waikato, Newzealand came forward and called the meeting on 25/01/1992. The agenda points of the meeting  were to elect a working committee and all its Executive members unanimity. 

 

The committee started organising small functions by hiring venues, Prior to buying Land for construction of the community Gurdwara. With the support from enthusiastic Sangat of Guru Ravidas ji, Finally NZ Guru Ravidas Sabha managed to buy 7 Acres of land in 1992 for construction of Gurdwara. 

 

His Holiness Shri 108 Sant Niranjan dass ji of Dera Sach Khand Ballan, Jalandhar (Punjab, India) has laid Foundation Stone of First Shri Guru Ravidas Temple in New Zealand At 1998, Great south Road, Bombay, Auckland, New Zealand. Construction of which then initiated by NZ Guru Ravidas Sabha and Sangat of New Zealand, on Monaday,31st December, 2001.  

 

Opening Ceremony:- The opening ceremony was performed by SHRI 108 Sant Niranjan Dass ji ( Dera sachkhand Ballan), SHRI 108 Sant Rama Nand Ji ( Dera sachkhand Ballan), SHRI 108 Sant Nirmal Dass ji ( Jaurewale) on 6th March 2004 in the presence of large gathering of Sangat and Members of Shri Guru Ravidas Sabha Bombay Hill, Auckland. 

 

After achieving so much, Now we are glad to announce that an other project  for a stunning Library at Gurudwara Sahib is being taken up  in current year 2021.
